Pride


Hi everyone again, this is real last blog, this time is real :(. Today we watch "Pride", the film show the history of a group of lesbian and gay activist who raised money to help families affected by the British miner's strike in 1984, was the begining of the Lesbian and Gays Support the Miners Campaign. I like the movie, for different reasons, in first place for the history because is a very interesting topic,  present in our current reality. I liked the art on film, the colours and the presence of the drag culture. Also i liked the humor and the way of take the history mixing a little bit of drama whit some of black humor in all dialogues.
My favorite character is Sian James, i liked his change from a provincian woman to empowered woman support to gay and lesbian rights, is hopeful and a little funny, and i liked the way that she renunces her prejudices and forces her husband to do the same.
If i have one think that i like, i love the way that contront the prejudices and join the laboral rights and gay and lesbian right.
One think that i dislike was the low presence of woman in the protagonist group, although after includes two lesbian more.
My favorite scene is the dance of Jonathan, because i like that the mens feel interesting in learn to dance, and this can unite two points opposite in one activity in common.

My name is Diego Rojas, I was born in San Antonio City in 1995. I lived in this city for 6 years, after we moved to Puerto Varas for one year and then to Puerto Montt until  i finished my elementary school, only in my elementary school i went to 3 differents school, Liceo Nacional from Llolleo, Rosita Novaro from Puerto Varas and Federico Ozanam from Puerto montt. In 2009 we had economic problems and my parents decided to go back. In San Antonio i studied in Retiro School for a year and after i changed to Jose Miguel Carrera Institute, and there finished my High Shool. I have a sister and brother, she is 19 years old and he is 4 years old. I like play soccer and listen to Hip hop music.

My favorite subject

Hi everyone Today i will talk about my favorite subject in university that it´s Reporteo Avanzado. Here is were we learn how to investigate and get the information to write it in the best way. The teacher is Carolina Trejo, a TV journalist who is a very good teacher, she used to work in Informe Especial and her clases are very interesting, she have shown us chronics and intervews writen by different latinoamericans journalists, like Gabriel Garcia Marquez or Martin Caparros, this writers show realities and events that not everyone knows and i think that it's important for the history of "3th world" countries, like dictatorship, poberty and childhood prostitution. In class we have made some reports,  interviewed  and the worst are the actuality quizzes, but without this the class it's very nice, and i have learned so much. Hello Everyone When i was a child i wanted to be lots of things, i wanted to be a lawyer, writer, dentist, marine and even a superhero, seriously. About other careers, i wanted to study law, in fact i studied law before arriving here but i didn`t like it at all, i decided Journalism because is more interesting and  more wide, we can work in TV, newspaper, magazine, radio etc. I feel really nice in this career and this University, the people are very cool, funny and respectful, i have a lot of friends, i even have a girlfriend. In the future, or when i graduate, i would like to work in radio, i like the music and would love to work in this because is not necesary use gentleman clothes.
